EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

At our school, learning goes beyond the classroom. We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities that help students explore their passions, develop new skills, and connect with others who share their interests.

Our activities support students’ personal growth, creativity, and sense of community. Whether a student is interested in science, the arts, leadership, sports, or social action—there’s something for everyone.

Model United Nations

Raszyńska MUN Club is an initiative that has been successfully operating at our school for over a decade. The club brings together enthusiasts of social sciences—global politics, law, economics, and finance—who meet weekly to prepare for Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, which simulate United Nations debates in English.

As part of the club’s activities, the school delegation participates each year in the most important MUN conferences in Poland, as well as one international conference abroad.

Amnesty International

During our meetings, we will focus on global issues related to the protection of human rights. In addition to discussions and presentations, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the annual “Write for Rights” marathon. By raising social awareness, students will also develop their critical and creative thinking skills, broaden their horizons, and deepen their understanding of the world.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is an initiative that focus on restoring old buildings to society with pro-social use in mind (afternoon clubs for underprivileged children etc.). Activities revolve around hands in renovation of buildings and associated fundraising, necessary for the renovation funding. Remember, volunteering in Habitat for Humanity can be part of your CAS requirements.

Math Club
In our Math Club, we go beyond the standard MYP(ic) curriculum to explore interesting, important, and enriching mathematical topics. Many ideas that later become the basis for required Explorations in the HL Mathematics course are first introduced during these sessions. Although we don’t cover content directly from the SL or HL programs, the foundation built here makes future learning at those levels much easier.

Physics

Physics Club
In Physics Club, we explore the fascinating side of physics that goes beyond the classroom. Through hands-on experiments, problem-solving challenges, and group projects, students deepen their understanding of key concepts while having fun.

We investigate real-world applications of physics—like building simple circuits, analyzing motion, or exploring optics and waves. Sometimes we dive into advanced topics such as quantum physics, relativity, or astrophysics, guided by student interest.

The club also prepares interested students for science fair and offers a space to ask big questions, test ideas, and develop scientific thinking.
